MY CREATIVE JOURNEY

Greetings! I’m Nazeem Junggee, a creative adventurer hailing from the scenic island of Mauritius.

Back in 2007, I was on a scholarship rollercoaster, pursuing design dreams at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Unfortunately, the recession gatecrashed the party, sending me back to Mauritius in 2009.

In 2011, and I took the plunge, launching a digital printing company with a focus on outdoor advertising. My one-man show evolved into a 10-employee sensation, becoming a major player in the outdoor advertising ring in Mauritius.

In 2023, armed with the unwavering support of my family, I’ve embarked on an exciting chapter. I find myself at LaSalle College in Vancouver, Canada. Returning to the student life after a professional decade might sound like a challenge, but I’m tackling it with the enthusiasm of a rookie. As the advertising and design industries undergo swift transformations, I aspire to emerge with a unique college degree bridging professional experience and academic theory.

You’ll discover in this online portfolio my versatile design skills - from branding, editorial, to packaging, and typographic. I also enjoy creating my own illustrations and photography.

Where I see myself in the near future: A designer crafting branding and packaging with a grin. An entrepreneur, diving back into the printing whirlwind. A fun educator, sparking creativity and inspire the next-gen talents! For now I am keeping all the doors open.
